EnactUS – a group of people who see themselves connected in some important way; individuals who are part of a greater good.

Executive Team

Nathan is a keen educator, strategist, and sushi enthusiast. When he’s not in his 3 hours of tutorials a week, or flexing his Chancellor’s scholarship, he humbly acts as the President of Enactus, leading from both the forefront and the backline of our operations and projects. Nathan joined Enactus in his first year at University, seeking a purposeful existence outside of actuarial classes. Having been entranced and inspired by the unrefined and challenging nature of social entrepreneurship, he has also taken on leadership of one of our projects – Cards for a Cause. Ultimately, Nathan’s mission in the club is to ingrain his favourite quote into our student entrepreneurs who faithfully create and run our projects. “Do or do not. There is no try.” – Master Yoda

Nathan is your friendly neighbourhood Vice President of Student Engagement who loves a cheeky brunch session and will definitely get amongst wholesome road trips (as long as he can bring his guitar). When Nathan isn’t busy making memes on Photoshop or taking photos of friends or nature, he’s working with the Marketing, Events and IT teams on developing new ways in which Enactus Melbourne can showcase our latest projects and endeavours in a creative fashion so the world can see.

Nathan had joined Enactus as a first year Bachelor of Commerce Student in 2018 as he wanted an outlet for his creative side while also contributing to meaningful and lasting change in society. Nathan’s favourite aspect of Enactus has been the opportunity to form friendships with people who are also passionate about fostering communities towards development and a better future. In Nathan’s words Enactus Melbourne is his “home away from home and his second family”.

Eva Wu

This is Monica. Monica is currently the Secretary of Enactus Melbourne and one of the kindest souls to grace our club. Whether you need advice on how to study for certain subjects or want to have a deep and meaningful conversation about life and it's many lessons, she'll be there for you. Although she may be a quiet person, do not mistake this for a lack of progress and effort. Behind the scenes, Monica works tirelessly to ensure that Enactus Melbourne has a unified vision and that we are on track to helping our members develop themselves both personally and professionally. If there's one thing that we can say that we've learnt about Monica in her many semesters with us, it's that the happier she gets, the smaller her eyes go.

Sunny is the Vice President of Projects who loves to ask her friends out to too many brunches and hotpots whenever and wherever. She’s working on bringing on new projects to Enactus and running the new social enterprise OneStep Straws.

Sunny joined Enactus in her second year studying the Bachelor of Commerce as she wanted to do something impactful during her university days before she graduates – “Enactus seemed like they did something different than most other clubs in Commerce so I gave it a go.”

Apart from the wholesome vibes and amazing people of Enactus, Sunny’s favourite aspect of Enactus is that it showed her how much fun doing business and commerce really can be!

“I’ve gotten the chance to do some super fun things…like seriously I never thought I had to go talk to manufacturers in China or learn how to use Illustrator to design packaging for a product, it’s super fun to challenge yourself and see where that takes you!”

Project Leaders

This is Benjamin - Leader of Project Nexus. He is a busy, bubbly, budding engineering student with a heart for business. He thinks weekdays are more fun than weekends and that Mr Bean is comedic gold. Enactus appealed to him because of its ambition, it’s people and its mission. He has been part of the club for almost 2 years and enjoys watching the club mature into what it is today. His many failures at Enactus have taught him a lot about people and the world and made him more hungry than ever for creating impact. This will not be the last you hear of Project Nexus, Enactus or humble Benjamin D, its just the beginning.

Operations Leaders

Colin is

Celine is the Partnership Director. She is a fan of Netflix and tea. She enjoys finding ways to improve Enactus impact and reach, as well as streamlining processes. Celine joined Enactus initially during her Bachelor of Commerce and came back to the Enactus family, whilst doing her Masters of Management (Accounting). She joined the organisation with the aim of using her academic competencies in a practical way and to help communities, as well as having a positive impact on the world. Celine’s favourite aspect of Enactus is finding like-minded driven individuals and getting first hand-experience of how to run and manage social enterprises.

Introducing Tristan - the Finance Director. He loves his tennis and is a big fan of Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios. Striving to continue his passion for creating meaningful change and to make the world a better place, Tristan joined the Enactus family upon commencing his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2018, and has never looked back. His main role is to manage Enactus’ funds as efficiently as possible, in order to support the club’s social enterprises, events and operations. To Tristan, Enactus is simply more than just a student club. Rather, it is a safe haven for other like-minded individuals to come together, create long-lasting friendships, and work towards improving our world for the better.

Timothy Le

This is Aidan - our Head of HR. He is a self proclaimed coffee addict and a huge foodie. He enjoys watching Enactus and its members grow in their confidence and abilities.

Aidan joined Enactus only a few weeks into his Bachelor of Commerce and cannot imagine his University life without it. Enactus appealed to Aidan because he wanted more out of his university experience. He wanted a chance to make a tangible impact on a global scale and to grow in a way no other experience could provide.

Aidan’s favourite aspect of Enactus is it’s people – the drive, determination and innovative mindset that surrounding Enactors is unparalleled – and has changed the way Aidan views the surrounding world.

Prateek

David is a coffee and bubble tea lover and not a day goes by without one. When he’s not working on improving Enactus Melbourne’s digital presence, you can find him playing badminton or cycling around Melbourne.
He joined Enactus Melbourne with a keen interest in start-ups and entrepreneurship and has had an amazing time meeting like-minded individuals who share the same passion. He has learnt a range of valuable skills in human-centred design, business modelling and social enterprises. He believes technology and the internet can be leveraged to help solve social problems and create social impact both within our local communities and on a global scale.
